I became a better leader when I stopped leading.

Or, at least, leading in the “traditional” sense. Let me explain:

My gift in entrepreneurship is visioneering.

I’m an ideas guy.

I like to live in the clouds.

Think outside-of-the-box. People will say, “You can’t just be a dreamer, you’ve got to be a doer too.” I CAN be a doer.

But I’m BEST as a dreamer.

It takes a secure leader to allow others to take their vision and execute. But -

When I learned to zoom out …

When I learned to rely on others …

When I learned to accept my limitations … I became the leader I wanted to be. You don’t have to be a dreamer and a doer forever.

Maybe in your start-up days.

But your first hires?Should free you up to be the leader you want to be.

>>Are you a better dreamer or better doer?
