Advice you won’t hear often:

Get yourself a mentee.

Not a mentor.

Not a coach.

But get yourself at least one person to pour into and advise.

I have mentors and coaches.

Highly recommend them.

But I find I get just as much value (if not even MORE) from mentoring and coaching others.

Here's the thing, when you have to give advice …

It forces you to look back and evaluate.

When you have to explain your thought process and the path you took to success, it forces you to re-evaluate your own journey.

You pick apart your decisions, the detours, and the lessons learned along the way.

To think about the path you took …

To get from Point A to Point B.

(And C, D, E, F … and the time you revisited B.)

I find myself revisiting my own strategies and blind spots more than ever.

It's a constant process of learning and refinement, and honestly, I often get more out of these sessions than I give.

What is one way coaching or mentorship changed your life?
